Claudette Lilly is an American & Italian Costume Designer

1969 - Born in the U.S.A. based in Rome Italy

1987 - Graduated from the Lyceum of Fine Arts Rome

1992 - Graduated from the I.E.D. fashion design after being awarded a full 4 year scholarship

1993/1996 - associated with Argot Theatre Group working as costume designer for several contemporary productions

1996/2009 worked as assistant costume designer for several international costume designers both in period and contemporary

films gaining a huge and diverse experience world wide assisting and supervising .

2010 /2022- works either as costume designer /costume consultant or supervisor on international tv and film projects and

commercials .

Trained in both period costume and contemporary with a fashion background, has covered all the different positions within a

costume team not only in the film industry but also in theatre ,television productions and commercials , have merged all

these different experiences within the costume field to create a unique approach for each project in a problem solving as well as

creative way . The ability to fuse the fashion studies background with a strong period costume experience enabled to create a

unique look and feel trough colour and silhouette. Lives and works in Rome Italy but can relocate for work if needed .

American and Italian dual citizenship. Has worked in the following countries : Isle of Mann , England ,

France , Hungary, Malta ,Marocco ( 3 times) , Serbia , Spain, Tunisia , Turkey , Thailand.

Special skills : communication and ability to build a strong team , great ability to adapt in different work settings and different crews

especially if of different backgrounds and nationalities . What I love about my job is to time travel through my

assignments and to experience new worlds and different outlooks and perspectives.
